Administrative/Clerical

Analytics

Contingent, Contract, and Temporary

As part of Human Resources, FirstPlace is an internal temporary placement division offering a unique opportunity to network and gain valuable work experience and exposure to a wide variety of disciplines within the corporation. While working on temporary assignments and projects, you’re actually earning tenure should you be hired full-time. Corporate Administration

The following groups provide corporate support, while building/strengthening Wachovia’s presence among internal and external audiences every day:

  • Corporate Communications manages media relations (with corporate, regional, and state outlets) and communications among internal and external audiences of all types.
  • Community Development and Reinvestment provides vision, leadership, and programs to ensure that the company fairly, equitably and profitably meets the financial needs of all community segments.
  • Investor Relations specializes in the proactive marketing and communication of timely, credible, and consistent information to the investment community, retail shareholders, and senior management.
  • Corporate Real Estate manages all corporate property holdings.
  • Credit Administration is responsible for setting, implementing, and enforcing the company’s credit policy.
  • Advertising/Brand Management fosters communication and progress consistent with the company's strategic direction; strengthens corporate messages in order to achieve dominant market share; and positions Wachovia as the financial provider of choice.

Customer Service

You’ll put your talents to work identifying and resolving customer service needs in a timely and professional manner. We provide the tools and training you’ll need to guide our clients, while receiving encouragement and opportunities to build your skills and continue with professional growth.

Fiduciary Management

As the primary contact and central information source of our Asset and Wealth Management client base, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive relationship ensuring client satisfaction and continued expansion of client business. You’ll also support personal trust advisors in providing quality administration of assigned accounts, research, and requests related to trust and other fiduciary matters. General Services

Industry Research

These opportunities to support the Timberland Investment Group offer of a variety of challenges for foresters, forest economists, project managers, and workforce operations leads in our IT, operations, and securities divisions. Information Technology
